Cities/Areas of the Post-Apocalyptic World

Arizona:
-Greater Phoenix
   When the Greater Phoenix Allegiance united the tribes of Mesa, Tempe, Scottsdale,
Glendale, Peoria, Chandler, Sun City, Fountain Hills, Surprise, Gilbert, El Mirage, Avondale,
and Tolleson, Greater Phoenix was born.
   Although, Greater Phoenix was not hit directly by any nuclear devices, it did suffer
significant damage and decay from the radiation emitting from the ruins of the Palo Verde.
-Tucson
   Advised by the Greater Phoenix Allegiance to create a metropolis much like Greater Phoenix,
the tribes of Tucson came together to create a city the would hold its own in the post
apocalyptic world.  Over time, this government became much like a dictatorship and treated
foreigners and some of its lower class citizens illy.  This caused the Santa Cruxes, a tribe
born on the Santa Cruz river to take in other discriminated tribes in a war that would win
over the city of Tucson to the Santa Cruxes.  The city remains in anarchy.
   Tucson was not hit directly by any nuclear device and remains in relatively good condition.

   Various landmarks were hit such as The White House, and The Washington Monument.  Capitol
Hill serves as the HQ for The Remnants.

as Phoenix and Tempe are more predominant being the core cities of the story.  Mesa is not
traveled to in the story.

-Palo Verde = The nuclear power plant just south of Phoenix.  It became inactive in 2016 and
all functions began failing in 2021.  Despite numerous attempts by the Greater Phoenix
Allegiance to restore it, it still remains dormant.

-The Aztek = Refers to the undetonated bomb that fell just South of the Palo Verde Nuclear
Power Plant.

This post contains ideas for a story I'm planning on writing.

Royal Blood:

Characters:
-Luc Jahute:  Son of the King and Queen Jahute of New Eden and older brother to Riel. Cast out of the kingdom for planning a very unsuccessful coup of his father after learning that his brother would take the throne instead.  Caring very little about his father’s assassination, he begins fighting for his life when random mercenaries and the Royal Armies attempt to kill or capture him.  He along with his brother carry a code that will activate the treasure of the city something that his brother wants to protect and Gauntlet wants to find.  After being captured by his brother, they have a bit of a fight before being interrupted by Gauntlet’s airship crashing into their castle.  They both put aside their differences and battle Gauntlet’s troops together with the Royal army.  Riel dies and Luc retrieves his sword. He attempts to attack Gauntlet head on but he throws him down thinking that the code was entrusted to the heir of the kingdom. Planning living the god forsaken city he sets off to the city’s borders.  By this time, Gauntlet learns the code is entrusted within Luc.  Niri, Luc’s companion, is captured by Gauntlet causing Luc to climb the castle to chase after her.  He finds that he came just in time to trade himself for Niri.  The guards capture Luc and Gauntlet kills Niri horribly. They force Luc into the activation chamber and put both of his eyes into the scanner activating the city’s treasure.  Luc escapes and does battle with Gauntlet atop the castle with the changing city in the background.  Luc throws a nuke at Gauntlet and he catches, Luc then activates it by cut through it both flaming swords all the way down cutting through him and blowing up the center of the city.
-Riel Jahute
-King Jahute
-Queen Eden Jahute:  Passed away before the story.  She is wife to the king and mother to Luc and Riel.  She died fighting alongside her husband as they commanded their armies during the Forever War.  Once the war was over King Jahute renamed the reconstructed kingdom to the city of New Eden.  It will implied that she was raped by her husband’s brother Gauntlet which impregnates her with her second child, Riel.  She refused to speak of it to her husband as she was afraid the distraction would cause their kingdom to lose the war.
-Gauntlet: The main antagonist.  Desires the code to access the “treasure” of the city of New Eden.  He is the brother to the King Jahute and uncle to Luc and Riel.  His relationship with his brother was always sketchy but no hate for either was ever exchanged or expressed.  After learning of the treasure that the king hid from him, he called for the assassination of his brother and the retrieval of his two sons.  He and Luc do a final battle atop the crumbling castle where Luc detonates a nuclear device on top of him.  It is implied that he is the true father of Riel.
-Niri: beloved companion of Luc.  Comes to his rescue and dies for her friend.

-the castle is invaded by a skyfleet and the two brothers are captured and interrogated.  They eventually escape and do battle with Gauntlet the fleet commander kills his brother and captures the body.  The rebel falls to the city below.
-Gauntlet is revealed to be the former kings brother and knows all about the eyelid code.  He was shocked to discover that the code was not under the royal's left OR right eyelid.  He then assumes the both parts of the code are hidden under the eyes of the rebel. 
-Gauntlet captures the rebel's adopted sister, a highly skilled fighter herself and orders the rebel to head towards the now occupied castle.  The rebel agrees to give the codes in exchange for his sister however, Gauntlet mutilates her instead and activates the code.  Gauntlet satisfied with the transformation of the city offers the rebel one last duel for the throne of the city.
-The king gave both of his sons royal katana swords, one red engraved with the word "Sin" and one blue engraved with the word "Punishment" to his rebel and loyal sons respectively.
-Throughout his journey the rebel gains one golden magnum revolver called "Pride", a black one called "Prejudice", a motorcycle that spits fire and mounted guns, black metal armor, and a suit that can set himself on fire at will without any harm done.
-wife dies horrible death in an attempt to save him.

-Amidst a vast, open desert lies a city of lights; the kingdom of New Eden .  The current king of the city was apart of a secret operation that would militarize the city making it an absolute power house if ever threatened by war.  In order to activate the protocol to militarize the city a code must be inputted into the city's mainframe however only the king knows the code by heart.  If anyone else wanted to input the codes the would have to turn to his twin sons.  The king tattooed the first half of the code underneath the right eyelid of one and the left of the other unbeknownst to the two.

One son, loyal to the city, followed in his father's footsteps and aided the kingdom in anyway he could.  The other, banished to the city's slums for planning a coup of his father's throne kept quiet and started his own life of crime in order to survive.

After a third party learned of a secret "treasure" the king held deep within the city, the king was assassinated and the loyal son was forced into the throne.  After learning of the existance the code and the "treasure" within the city, he ordered his best men to locate his brother and return him to the castle or if he is too much of a hassle kill him and destroy his body.  The rebel brother now faces an onslaught of several different parties, some trying to safely retrieve him, and others looking for information about the code to the city's treasure.

This blog post will contain my ideas and concepts for a survival/horror video game.

Concept: A little girl traverses creepy and scary areas to find her way home.

Gameplay:  The little girl cannot attack, is slow, and has low health.  The goal is to avoid danger or use the environment or the enemies themselves to advance.


Story: Little girl gets lost and is searching for her parents.  Her frantic imagination
creates a hysteric alternate dimension for her to venture through.  By the end, it will be
revealed that she is abused and is running away.

Gameplay:Puzzle oriented with no combat.  To avoid enemies, player must use the enemies'
tactics against them while running and hiding is strongly encouraged.There will be quick time
sequences that can kill the player.  The player must travel from area to area (haunted house,
lake, etc.) completing puzzles in order to get closer to the goal. Each level to have an end
boss?

Protagonist:  5 year old blonde haired girl wearing a pink/blue dress.  She is pale skinned.
There is a tree on her dress that withers away as she takes damage.  When below 20% hp, the
girl will turn gray until the killing blow turns both her and her enemy silhouette black.
Every killing blow will be unique (decapitation, disembowelment) to each attack and enemy.
The player will not be able to see her face as it will always be hidden.  Turning the camera
to look at her will cause her to turn her head away.

Horror:  There will be no screamers/jumpers with subtlety highly valued.  The game will
revolve around heavy dialogue; all text, none spoken, with the exception of Zelda-like grunts
and screams.  The player will encounter weird characters that all have bad intentions whether
or not they lead the girl the right way, the wrong way, or just flat out try to kill her.

Possible Levels:
-Starts with Distortion of the girl's home
-Leads to vast, empty wooded area
-Leads to dark lake
-leads to pleasant looking plains

Possible Scenarios:
-The girl walks down into the basement of her house, flooded and dark.  A single candle is lit
which reveals a man sitting in a recliner facing a brick wall enjoying a cigarette and alcohol.
Talking to the man, the camera will face him (undetermined appearance) and he will say
something along the lines of "What a lovely view have we here" (more in-depth dialogue).
Turning to the wall will reveal a vast wooded area in drenched in twilight, the next level.
-Dark moonlit lake in the middle of the wooded area (following level).  A single island in the
middle with a silhouette of a man in a boat in the unreachable distance.  Puzzles in the island
that swim down into the depths reaching underwater islands and areas having to do more puzzles.
Giant dark ominous shadows swim by her the entire time.  There will be a weird man to greet
her at every isle.  After lake boss?, the girl will reach the bottom which is the surface and
fall down into the next area, a happy looking plain area with trees and flowers.
